Trideum Biosciences and partners Riptide Biosciences received the Best Poster Award from the MHSRS 2016 Convention.

Trideum Biosciences would like to congratulate our partners at Riptide Biosciences and our own Dr. Mina Izadjoo for winning the Gold Award for Excellence at the 2016 Military Health Systems Research Symposium. Their presentation, “Evaluation of Novel Antimicrobial Peptides as Topical Anti-Infectives with Broad-Spectrum Activity against Combat-Related Bacterial & Fungal Wound Infection” was selected as the best poster from hundreds of other presentations.

Riptide Biosciences is a leader in developing new therapeutics for combating microbial infections, inflammation, and tumors. Whereas multiple-resistant pathogen strains limit the efficacy of traditional antibiotic treatments, Riptide designs and creates new peptides with antibiotic mechanisms that are much less susceptible to gained resistance. Trideum Biosciences has been testing and evaluating these novel antimicrobials.
